Following their sold out album launch gig in March, The 2:19 make their return to The Pavilion on Friday 21st April.
The 2:19 are making serious waves on the Irish, UK and European Blues scene following the release of their incredible 2021 album Revelator and its follow-up, We Will Get Through This.
The band was recently nominated for Band of the Year at the 2023 UK Blues Awards and their new album has spent the last two months at number 3 on the UK Independent Blues Broadcasters Association album chart.
Graham Munn, Blues in Britain Magazine
“Its hard to believe a band, formed in the difficult years of pandemic, have now produced a second stunning album, but they have.”
Alan Harrison, Rocking Magpie
“These kids are as good as I have heard in the last twenty years or more; and probably as good as most before that too….. Timeless Rhythm and Blues with the emphasis on The Blues but with plenty of Rhythm too.”
Iain Cameron, Blues Enthused
“Back in 2021 Belfast band The 2:19 released their debut album Revelator, a collection of very satisfying, meat-and-two-veg blues originals that showed a bit of potential. Their new album We Will Get Through This isn’t as good as that. It’s better. Much better.”
Gary Burnett, Down at the Crossroads
“The 2:19 made a huge statement with Revelator. We Will Get Through This shouts even louder the fact that this is a hugely talented band that needs to be widely heard and enjoyed.”
Brendan McKeown, Daily Mirror”A follow up album that crackles and fizzes from the first rockin’ guitar riff to the last lingering piano motif.”
